The Puppies Arrive

Welcome to Tierra's own Blog Spot! After safe deliveries, 10 puppies were added to our family. Early Tuesday morning, May 22nd, Tierra was laying in her birthing box, breathing heavy. At five that eve she still hadn't delivered yet. But when we came home from town at eight P.M. There were five puppies already. By eleven-thirty there were nine puppies, and when I checked her at four-thirty am, all ten were there. Tierra is a wonderful mom, and she knows exactly what to do. It's a little difficult to see under the red heat lamp the colouring for sure, but there are two black puppies, three dark chocolate brown, and five lighter chocolate like their mother. The sex of the puppies hasn't all been determined yet. I will update you on that detail later.
