Our newest family member snuggling with the puppies. Thank you to everyone that has bought our puppies. They are all sold now, but if you want we could have you on our waiting list. We hope to breed Tierra again next Spring. The puppies will be missed, but we are glad they've gone to good homes.

Our Last Puppy For Sale

Mr. Dark Blue is waiting for someone to adopt him. He has a sweet gentle nature, and shows a very teachable character. All the information for the puppies is on the right hand side of the blog under the old archives.

Only Blacks left!

All of the chocolate puppies are now sold... We still have two adorable Black Lab males left. Mr. Red, and Mr. Dark Blue. Mr. Red has a bundle of energy, and Mr. Dark Blue is much more laid back. I will post new pictures soon. They are now a couple days over 7 weeks old, and can go to their new homes any time.

Sweet Little Buds

The puppies are growing up so fast!. They are very active, and have taken over our backyard. Trees have gone missing, and strawberries are always a treat! But when you come outside to check them, they are innocently sleeping, all plied on each other.All ten would cuddle up together under the upside down wagon.
These three males are our last left to be sold. One chocolate, and two blacks.

New Toys

Each puppy received their first little plush toy. They thought they were great. They tugged a bit on them, chewed a bit, and then just piled on top on them to take a nap. This way they can have something familiar with the scent of Tierra and their siblings, to take to their new homes.Daisy (Miss Purple) taking her nap.

Drinking Time

The puppies have discovered that they love to drink water.. especially if they can crawl through it and have a little swim in the mean time. They did much better with their bath today too.

First Food!

The puppies are FOUR WEEKS old today! They had their first real puppy food. They thought it was the greatest thing, until Tierra showed up. Then everyone who noticed her dove for a drink of milk. Their home had to be built up higher as they learned they could escape the short little wall.

Little Miss White

Almost FOUR WEEKS old! One of our little females, Miss White. They love running around the lawn, and they are quick! Especially when they see their Mother coming! Free FOOD!! The puppies will be starting a soften puppy food next week. Their teeth are almost through.Mr Red in hot pursuit of Miss White.

First Bath!

June 14. A little over three weeks old. All ten puppies had their first bath. It was finally warm enough again outside. They did quite well, but weren't too sure about the cool water at first. They liked the snuggle in the towel after, and the warm sun.

The puppies' eyes are finally open. They can see their Momma now instead of just sniffing their way around!

TWELVE DAYS OLD. The puppies eyes are still closed. They are starting to walk (more like wobble) around, and love snuggling with each other.

First Summer Sun

NINE DAYS OLD.

The puppies out for their sun time. They also had their little nails clipped for the first time. As soon as it is hot again, they will have their first shampoo. The neighbourhood children love to come over to give them lots of snuggle time. These puppies will definitely be used to children and make wonderful family pets.

The Price is Right

We have come to a decision on the price of these adorable, CKC registered, pure-bred puppies. The seven chocolate coloured pups will be $600.00 each and the three black pups will be $500.00 each. There will be a non-refundable deposit fee of $150.00 to secure the puppy that you choose. The balance will be due on pick-up of your puppy. A copy of the 30 month guarantee agreement will be emailed or mailed out to those who are interested, and will be signed when paying the deposit.

Puppies For Sale

These beautiful little puppies are for sale. These puppies will be raised around children, will receive baths once a week, and have their nails clipped. There are four females and six males. The males are in the foreground, and the females are behind them. The boy bunch. Mr. Red and Mr. Dark Blue are black puppies like their Dad. Mr. Chocolate , Mr. Green, Mr. Light Blue and Mr. Orange are like their Mom.These are the four sweet girls. Miss Purple, Miss Light Pink and Miss White are chocolate like their Mom. Miss Rose is black like her Dad.
Each Puppy will be sold for (price to be determined yet) and are CKC registered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, have their first vaccination, are health checked by the vet, and dewclaws are removed.(The dewclaws are the tiny claw up the foreleg. It usually is removed to prevent it from getting snagged in the bush while the dog is hunting.)
The puppies come with a 30 month written guarantee covering hips, elbows, and eyes and a 12 month guarantee covering other genetic disorders. All puppies are sold on a CKC nonbreeding agreement. If you wish to breed your puppy in the future this contract can be removed once the puppy is over 2 years of age and has obtained OFA hips clearance and CERF eye exam of normal. This is to ensure that genetically unsound dogs are not bred. The only additional charge is the fee payable to the CKC for reversing this original contract.

The puppies were born May 22nd, and will be ready for their new homes around July 3 to 10. Please keep checking the blog for updated pictures of the puppy you have your eye on. Tierra is a purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever, born February 4, 2001. She is the daughter of Max's Monster Mauler DG and International Cocoa Bear (USA). She is very gentle with children, and still is playful as a puppy. She makes a wonderful family pet, and our children love her. She is calm, but does get a little excited to 'meet' other dogs. She is a quick learner, and loves to play fetch. Her most favourite past time is to swim in the lakes and retrieve her toys. Her puppies will make wonderful pets.

The Puppies Arrive

Welcome to Tierra's own Blog Spot! After safe deliveries, 10 puppies were added to our family. Early Tuesday morning, May 22nd, Tierra was laying in her birthing box, breathing heavy. At five that eve she still hadn't delivered yet. But when we came home from town at eight P.M. There were five puppies already. By eleven-thirty there were nine puppies, and when I checked her at four-thirty am, all ten were there. Tierra is a wonderful mom, and she knows exactly what to do. It's a little difficult to see under the red heat lamp the colouring for sure, but there are two black puppies, three dark chocolate brown, and five lighter chocolate like their mother. The sex of the puppies hasn't all been determined yet. I will update you on that detail later.
